About Mommy Mondays

Founder’s Note

Mommy Mondays began as a personal journey before it ever became a brand.

As a military wife living far from family, a homeschooling mom of four, and a woman navigating depression, I found myself overwhelmed by the many roles I carried. I had a “case of the Mondays” every day of the week. I loved my family deeply, yet I felt disconnected from myself. Like many caregivers, I was showing up and providing on the outside, while internally exhausted and unsure of who I was beyond my responsibilities.

What I needed was not judgment, quick fixes, or the latest parenting trend. I needed understanding, practical support, and care that honored my whole life. Through my faith in God, I was guided toward healing that addressed mind, body, and spirit together. I learned that when one area is neglected, the others suffer, but when they are supported together, real and lasting change becomes possible.

During one of the most challenging seasons of my life, I began sharing my day to day experiences through Mommy Mondays on social media. What started as honest moments and encouragement, came a space of connection. Other mothers saw themselves in my story and found comfort in knowing they were not alone. I also received support and practical insight from other moms that truly helped me. That shared community became a turning point.

As those conversations grew, I felt called to seek deeper understanding, not only for myself, but for the many moms walking similar paths. I returned to school to study psychology and behavioral science, where my education and lived experience came together. I saw how fragmented support often is for caregivers. Mental health, parenting guidance, behavioral tools, and faith-based care are frequently offered in isolation, leaving families to piece together solutions on their own.

When I began approaching my life holistically, caring for mind, body, and spirit together, everything shifted. Not because life became perfect, but because I had tools, language, support, and clarity that aligned with my values and real life responsibilities.

Mommy Mondays now exists from this understanding that caregiving is both sacred work and unseen labor. Whether caring for children, families, students, or communities, caregivers carry emotional, mental, and relational weight that deserves to be seen and supported.

At our core, Mommy Mondays is rooted in holistic, evidence-informed care. We exist to nurture those who nurture others, because the best version of you gives your children the best mom and those you serve the best care.
